
AmazonWireless: Phones and service plans from AT&T and Verizon
By: Alan Ng | July 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentAmazon have taken one step further into the mobile market, by announcing AmazonWireless, their new service which will allow their customers to buy mobile phones and service plans from AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
As reported from E-Week, the service is in beta stage at the moment and Amazon are offering free two-day shipping and no mail-in rebate hassles to mark the occasion. The company have also stated that during the beta phase, they will be testing a lot of different features and asking customers for their input and opinions.
At the moment, there are around 120 different phone models to choose from, some of these include the BlackBerry Storm, Samsung Eternity and BlackBerry Curve.
