Xbox 360 and PS3: Exclusive Games Rundown

We have a couple of articles for you to read now, which discusses the lists of exclusive titles that are coming to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles in the rundown to the holiday season.

Cnet has provided a list of exclusives for each console, as well as a series of screenshots for all the hot games that are on the way. Starting with the PS3, first on the list is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Then there is mentions for MAG, Gran Turismo 5 and the new Ratchet and Clank game, all of which are expected before the end of the year.

As for the Xbox 360, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Halo: ODST. Then there is the exciting prospect of Shadow Complex, a side scroller from Epic that was showcased at E3. Other games on the way this year include Forza 3, Left 4 Dead 2, GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

    I am sorry but the DLC for GTAIV should not count. It’s a DLC. You need to own GTAIV in order for you to play it. It’s should not be counted.

    That sucks. The only game coming out on your list is forza 3. The rest should all be dlc, but I guess microsoft feel that their customers are suckers and will buy dlc for the price of a full game.

    So MS list of exclusives are 3 actual games and the rest if DLC?

    PS3 list looks good though.

    Forza 3 becomes less and less interesting the more I hear about it. No rally racing? No weather simulation? No Night Driving? Weak!

    Can’t wait to see what Polyphony Digital has up their sleeves!

    PS3 list is awesome, the 360 list is desperate consisting of mainly DLC of existing games, with not much new or exciting on the horizon.

    Good job my and all my mates traded up to PS3 earlier this year LOL.

    As my yearning for pick-up-and-play games increases. PixelJunk Shooters and ModNation Racers has caught my attention and then some!

    Please, God, tell me that the latter is multiplayer offline (eg. split-screen). My girlfriend and children will be through-the-roof happy! :-)

    WTF they left out such good games for both consoles

    PS3: Killzone 2, inFamous, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, God of War 2

    XBox 360: Halo 3, Gears of War (I dont know any other cuz i dont hav a 360)

    I think they are talking more games to come out in q4, holiday time, rather than just this year. PS3 is def looking promising, it just had to get out of the gates a bit, but not it’s showing it’s potential. MS is running out of ideas, so they’re trying to milk their customers with DLC. DLC isn’t a game on it’s nor does it make a game. It’s time to hop off the Halo and Gears bandwagon.

    I would take Xbox DLC over any exclusive PS3 game. They all suck. And Halo and GOW are awsome and better than any PS3 exclusive will ever be.
