
Speedy Google Chrome OS: Apps will run on Windows, Mac, Linux
By: Alan Ng | July 9, 2009 | 1 CommentFollowing on from the announcement of Google’s Chrome OS, it has been revealed that the new OS will be able to boot up in a matter of seconds, with the intention of getting users onto the internet as soon as possible.
According to Dvice, Google Chrome OS will be initially targeted at netbooks, with an expected release in the second half of 2010. Afterwards, the OS will then be introduced to all other PC systems.
It has also been revealed that all applications that are written for Chrome OS will also run on Windows, Mac and Linux systems. We’re really excited about the fast boot up time, let us know your thoughts on Chrome OS.
