Modern Warfare 2 Demo: Release expectations
By: Peter Chubb | July 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentEarly in June at the E3 2009 conference, we were treated to the Modern Warfare 2 Demo. Since then there have been huge expectations about the release of the game since the showing of the demo. A number of game reviewers have been receiving demos of the game, but were a little disappointed, as they had hoped that it was different to the demo version on show at E3.
GTV.com had hoped for more, but at least they can now take a closer look at some of the smaller parts of the game that Activision sped through while on stage at E3. So what did we see in the Modern Warfare 2 Demo? Firstly, we saw Col. MacTavish and Roach (whom you play) taking time to stalk their way towards an airbase in the snow, remember to count to three and hit your trigger to kill the two-man patrol.
There is so much to discuss about the demo, I am sure that you are now aching to get your hands on it. It is not certain if there will be any focus on the multiplayer side of the game, looking back at Activision’s track record, they do like to focus on one thing at a time. This means that it is not likely to have multiplayer on the Modern Warfare 2 Demo.
