HTC’s Profit Hits $197 Million

HTC has recently released their profits for the second quarter of 2009, the profits are up 33 percent since the last quarter and have resulted in a total profit of $197 million for the quarter.

The profits are said to be a result of their improved smartphones, which now have easier to use interfaces, based on popular Operating Systems such as Windows Mobile and Google’s Android.

HTC have gone from being a relatively obscure company to producing high end handsets which support features such as Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and Bluetooth.

The future looks good for HTC and with its HTC Hero launching soon they should see more profits.
