
Google Chrome OS: realize the cloud computing future

Information Week thinks that it is so much more than that, they believe that it is an attempt by Google to make cloud the computing future.
Google predicts that cloud computing is the future and the open-source operating system, Chrome OS that is designed for both Netbooks and desktops looks to prove just that. Google hopes that Chrome OS will be able to redefine what we think of the operating system. The search engine giant aims to do this by addressing a number of problems, including startup times, endless patching, constant security problems and declining performance as time goes on.
Google’s aim is to also prove that the Web is now more dominant when developing web-based programs. It is no secret that these web-based programs offers poor performance when compared to application that you install directly to a computer, but this will not always be the case.
