Distinguishing PSN from Xbox Live
By: Alan Ng | July 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentIn a recent interview with Industry Gamers, Sony’s director of PlayStation Network Operations, Eric Lempel has stated that the Playstation Network is no longer playing ‘catchup’ with Microsoft’s Xbox Live service.
As reported from Edge-Online, it’s no secret that Sony have greatly improved the PSN service by adding similar features seen on Xbox Live such as Cross-game invites, achievements and in-game XMB access.
Eric Lempel thinks that the PS3 also has features that Xbox Live doesnt by stating the following dig at Microsoft:
He stated: “I don’t think there’s a lot of catch up [with XBL] anymore. In some cases, I think we’ve got more, and we’ve got some other things they don’t have.”
