
New Sony 1080p Handycams: HDR-CX520V and HDR-CX500V
By: Alan Ng | July 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentIf you’re a fan of Sony’s handycam camcorder range, you’ll probably want to know that the company have just announced two new models. The HDR-CX520V and HDR-CX500V are both 1080p enabled and will be released in September.
As reported from Engadget, the HDR-CX520V features a 64GB capacity, while the HDR-CX500V has 32GB of storage space. Both devices feature a Exmor R CMOS sensor with BIONZ processing and 12MP imaging stills.
Other features include Face Touch autofocus, three-way shake cancellation, Optical SteadyShot and 60p output.
The HDR-CX500V will be available for $1,100, while the HDR-CX520V is slightly more expensive at HDR-CX520V. Full press release over at Engadget.
