
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP Sales Top 3.5M
By: Jamie Pert | July 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentCapcom have announced that their PSP titles Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite The Best have sold over 3.5 million copies combined. Apparently The Best edition has sold over 1 million copies in Japan alone. This is good news for Sony following announcements that Monster Hunter 3 would not be released on the PlayStation 3.
Monster Hunter is a series of games set in an ever expanding natural environment, the game allows players to hunt huge ferocious monsters. One thing which is said to have built the game such a great following is the fact that it allows players to alongside each other, this allows players to team up to take down bigger monsters.
Soon Monster Hunter 3 will be released and this is sure to trigger even more sales for the franchise, Monster Hunter 3 is due for release on August 1st.
