As you may know the Palm Pre is to hit the UK in October on the O2 network, which will mean that O2 will have an in-house battle with the Apple iPhone 3GS over the Christmas period. Both handsets have the same function and that is to be a mini computer.
Both handsets have some amazing features; users will certainly have a tough decision to make when choosing an O2 handset for the holiday season. The Palm has the advantage of having a touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard, although that QWERTY keyboard is very small, making it hard if you have larger fingers.
The Telegraph explains that the Pre also has Touchstone; this means that you do not have to plug it in to charge the handset up. The Pre will have to battle against the greatest iPhone yet, the 3G S. This new handset is twice as fast as the previous model, and with a range of new games designed to take advantage of the power of the iPhone 3G S, this is surly a battle that Apple has to win.
Which will you buy on O2, the Palm Pre or the Apple iPhone 3G S?
