Canon’s new photo printers: PIXMA MP560, MP490 and CP790

If you have owned one of Canon’s popular PIXMA printers in the past, you’ll be pleased to know that the company have just announced three new printers in the PIXMA range. They are the PIXMA MP560, MP490 and CP790 respectively.

As reported from Slashgear, all three feature a few new features that should catch the eye of potential buyers. The MP560 has photo correction, duplex printing and WiFi. It has the ability to produce 4″ x 6″ prints in grayscale at the speed of 9.2 images a minute and six images per minute in color, quite decent we would say. You’ll be able to pick this one up for $150.

The PIXMA MP490 is a downgraded version of the MP560 and doesnt have some of the features mentioned above. The plus side though, is that it will be available at a slightly cheaper price of $100.

The third model, the CP790, features face detection, 3-inch LCD screen and memory card slot. It’s expected to be released sometime this month for around $180.
