White iPhone 3GS overheating, 3rd-party cases and discoloration
By: Alan Ng | July 7, 2009 | Leave a CommentAre you still experiencing overheating problems with your white iPhone 3GS? A new report has revealed that the discoloration and overheating that occurs is due to third-party cases and not a problem with Apple’s hardware.
The news is according to MacRumors, who have obtained the new info from website ‘frenchiPhone’. This reason seems to be Apple’s stance on the problem at the moment, as they try to manage the sheer amount of complaints coming in over the phone.
It is also been revealed that those of you with discoloration on your white iPhone 3GS, can use alcohol to wipe the back of your case. MacRumors report that they have tried this method and it has worked just fine.
