The Nearest Tube iPhone app for 3GS

Acrossair is to launch its new app for the Apple iPhone 3GS, called Nearest Tube. The new applications works with the new compass and the new 3-megapixel camera, this helps you locate the nearest tube station.

When you run the Nearest Tube app on your iPhone 3G S directional arrows are adding in real time while in video mode of your surroundings. You really need to watch the video below to see this app in action it is amazing.

AcrossAir believes that this is the first “augmented reality” app for Apple handset; this means that it adds digital signs to the real time video; these would be the arrows and other information on the tube stations. This new app is expected to be launched in many other countries.
