New iPod Touch With Camera: News update
By: Peter Chubb | July 7, 2009 | 2 CommentsApple have never been too worried about cameras on its devices, this was evident with the 2-megapixel camera that they had on the two previous iPhone’s. Apple have now started to up its game with a new 3-megapixel camera with video recording on its new iPhone 3G S, and constant rumors of a new iPod Touch with a built-in camera.
Tech Crunch are reporting that a massive amount of camera modules used in the iPhone have now been ordered and the amount that has been ordered means that they are intended for iPod use.
Mac Rumors have further added to this speculation by showing two images of cases that are used from new models of the iPod Touch and iPod Nano. If you look closely, you will see a hole, which has to be for a camera.
The order amount for these cameras are very large, so it seems that Apple are looking to use cameras in all of its lower iPod line, apart from the Shuffle.
