New drums for Guitar Hero 5 release

We have some interesting news for fans waiting on info for the upcoming Guitar Hero 5 game, as a recent image has revealed that the new drum kit is set to have a makeover from the kit used in World Tour.

The leaked image comes to you courtesy of Engadget, who have provided it for us from their ‘trusty’ sources. As you can see from the image, the cymbals are now circular and the controller module is now placed at the bottom of the drum pads, unlike the World Tour kit.

Engadget states that the new kit will feature three mini ports - two for kick pedals, and one black mini jack. The image is sure to start the Rock Band kit comparisons, so take a look at the picture and let us know your views on it.
