Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series: Video

If you were ever going to give the keys to the new Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series to someone, then it has to be Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson. It is no secret that the BBC host loves Mercedes, and having him behind the wheel of this 660 hp supercar was going to produce some great TV.

When watching the video below, you can clearly see that Clarkson put that twin-turbo V12 Mercedes engine to good use, but you have to spare a thought for those tires. The car has been limited to 199mph, which is still a crazy speed.

In the video, you will see the Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series take on the more expensive McLaren SLR. You can clearly see that Jeremy Clarkson was enjoying himself, but he did say that driving the vehicle was like sitting on a pile of stones, not great for long journeys then.
