FCC: Creative Zii and Zii EGG touchscreen players

New designs for Creative Labs latest MP4 players have emerged, from what we can see they will be called the Creative Labs Zii and the Creative Labs Zii EGG. No real set-in-stone details have yet emerged.

It is thought that the Zii and the Zii EGG will both have built in WiFi and also a HD Camera, also on the back of one of the designs it says ‘Developer Edition’, this may suggest that a new software platform is being created for this device too.

It is thought that Apple will be releasing their next version of the iPod in September so it would seem important for Creative Labs to release the Zii and Zii EGG before that release, especially as the next iPod is said to have a camera too.
