Ghostbusters: Imported 360 Versions removed from retailer

Well this is a bit naughty, wouldn’t you say? After the much publicized deal that Sony made to secure exclusive rights on the PS3 in Europe, this is surely going to have repercussions for whoever is to blame.

As reported from Nextgamer (translated), ‘Media Markt’ is the European retailer which has been caught selling imported Xbox 360 versions from the US.

It looks as if Sony are going to be seeking answers from Atari Benelux as to how the Xbox 360 game managed to appear on shelves for happy customers to buy.

What are your thoughts on this news? What action do you think Sony will take?

To be honest I doubt MediMarkt even knew these were US versions. Each MediaMarkt store does it’s own buying, probably just a dodgy local distributor who sold in to a few MediaMarkt stores.
The best that will happen is a store circular goes round a few stores.
