Palm Pre: O2 Rumored to have UK Exclusive
Filed under: Cell Phones, Handsets

According to the UK Newspaper the Guardian, the first network in the UK to offer the Palm Pre will be O2. Palm have stated that they will announce more details on July 7th. If this does turn out to be true it will be huge for O2 as they already have exclusivity for the Apple iPhone 3G S.
O2 have been rumoured to be the first UK supplier of the Palm Pre since back in May, apparently the UK network Vodafone were competing for the exclusive but seem to have missed out.
With O2 seemingly having exclusives to two of the most popular handsets available today this is sure to attract more customers, we will keep you updated as more news emerges.

Until Palm gets some real apps they are an also ran in the smartphone business on this model.
I am not an Apple fan boi (and use Sprint) but I am pissed that Iphone has all these nice apps, Sirius player, most on-line newspapers, and everyone else catering to iPhone’s and the Pre sits there with 32 apps.
Palm really should have allowed developers to create apps so owners aren’t sitting here waiting feeling stupid with a really nice phone that is so limited.
