Some iPhone 3.1 software and 4.0 phone ideas
By: Peter Chubb | July 2, 2009 | 3 CommentsWe wrote an article yesterday asking for your wishlist for the new iPhone OS 3.1, and one response that we had needed a mention. One of our readers gave us their tips as to what they would like to see from not only the iPhone OS 3.1 software update, but also the new Apple iPhone 4.0 (aka 2010 iPhone).
Let us look and see what they had wished for, and see if there is anything on there that we hope to see soon. The first is the most obvious, and that is Flash player support. We are still waiting for Apple to offer us this basic feature.
That was the most wanted feature on the wishlist, but there are still a host of other wanted features, such as a quick back option, it does get annoying that you have to go to your home screen while switching between apps.
It would also be nice to have the option to attach images and files from an email app itself, multiple signature and manual rotate gesture options has also been asked for. The reader has also mentioned the need to make the notes app more powerful, such as offering a choice of fonts, text size and colors.
These are just the wishlist for iPhone OS 3.1, now let us see what one of our readers hopes to see from the Apple iPhone 4.0 (aka 2010 iPhone). The most popular feature asked for is a built-in flash as it is needed for shooting in low light levels; it would also be great to have a front facing camera for when you are using video chat.
Let us know what you hope to see from the upcoming iPhone OS 3.0 and the next iPhone handset.
