Edifier iF500 iPod Dock released

Previously Edifier released their iPod dock called the iF500 in Europe, however the dock is now hitting the U.S. The iF500 is a pretty unique design which has a large oval speaker cover which houses five speakers.

The five speakers all output 10W except for the subwoofer which outputs a maximum of 32W, they are also designed to not vibrate too much. The dock is compatible with most audio players via a headphone jack these audio players include the Apple iPod Touch. There is also a built in FM tuner,.

The dock is said to retail at $249 which seems a little steep, however the sound quality is said to be great.
