BlackBerry Tour on Sprint or Verizon Wireless?

We know that the BlackBerry Tour 9630 is coming; there have been a number of release dates thrown in the air over this much-anticipated handset, which is coming to both Sprint and Verizon Wireless. We have mentioned in a recent post that Sprint was to get the Tour in July, and that Verizon had delayed theirs until August.

We then received some updated news that the RIM BlackBerry Tour was also coming in July now. It seems that no matter what Sprint does, they can never get a break. The network carrier thought that they were going to enjoy making gains in the Smartphone market with its launch of the Palm Pre, but Apple had other plans after launching the new iPhone 3G S just weeks later.

Those who wish to own a BlackBerry Tour 9630 now have a tough decision to make, do they choose Sprint or Verizon. We know that both carriers will offer the latest RIM handset for $199 after a mail-in-rebate on a two-year contract, so you now have to choose which is the best network, good luck.
