Apple Mac Sales and Shipments Increasing
By: Jamie Pert | July 2, 2009 | Leave a CommentSince a recent promotion and re-pricing of Apple’s MacBook Pro series, Apple have seen a boost in their personal computer shipments. This growth wasn’t greatly expected due to the current economic climate. Apparently Apple have sold 2.5million Mac’s in the second quarter of this year.
The three month growth equalled approximately 4% for the quarter, if figures continue to stay this way Apple will have an annual growth of around 12%, this figure is slightly shy of their 14 % average yearly growth over the last three years, however given the current economic climate Apple shouldn’t be too disappointed with it.
