Wishlist: iPhone 3.1 update
By: Peter Chubb | July 1, 2009 | 6 CommentsIPhone OS 3.0 has been available for two weeks now and there is no question that it has made the iPhone a much better Smartphone. There are 100 new features; here is a list of our top 5 features. As with all software updates there are always bugs, and iPhone OS 3.0 is not without theirs, which is why Apple have been working hard on iPhone 3.1 update.
Not all iPhone users have experienced troubles with the latest software update, but I have and it is annoying. When I am about to end a call and pull the phone away from my ear, it puts the call on hold. Now I do not know if this is related to the software, or if it is a problem with my new iPhone, 3G S.
Without question iPhone 3.1 update is needed, but what would your wishlist be for the new update. While looking on MacNN Forums, we have seen a number of suggestions on what is needed in the new update.
One forum member has said that AVRCP Bluetooth profile and A Spotlight API is needed. Background app is another feature that is needed as well as more voice control features. Users also wish to have a choice of choosing a default browser, as some do not like using Safari.
These are just a few suggestions, but I am sure that you have many more new features that you would like to add to your wishlist, please let us know by adding your comments below.
