Nintendo Wii MotionPlus and Game Impressions

Engadget have recently received the Nintendo Wii MotionPlus and a couple of new games to try it out on, the idea of the Wii MotionPlus is to increase the sensitivity of the Wii’s current controller. The Wii MotionPlus is on sale for $19.99.

According to Engadget the fitting of the attachment is extremely self explanatory and could be done without really reading the instructions. One thing they did say is that it wasn’t obvious whether or not the Nintendo Wii had acknowledged whether or not the MotionPlus attachment was present.

Engadget do not seem extremely blown away by the Wii MotionPlus’s performance when playing Grand Slam Tennis, however in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 the MotionPlus is apparently great, this is perhaps why Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is bundled with the MotionPlus.

By this we can assume that if the game spends the time adapting to the MotionPlus results can be substantial, this therefore proves the MotionPlus is a worthwhile investment if you are willing to wait a while for games.
