FCC: BlackBerry Curve 8520 gets approval

Do you remember all of those rumors about the new BlackBerry Curve 8520; well this RIM handset has just been passed by the FCC and is heading to T-Mobile. This latest edition to the Curve series is expected to be launched sometime this month.

If you are looking for a new BlackBerry with an Optical trackpad and EDGE connection, then the Curve 8520 is just what you want, if not then you should consider the BlackBerry Tour which is also launched in July.

According to Cell Phone Signal, some of the features include a 2-megapixel camera, but no flash, a Transmissive TFT LCD with a 320 by 240 display, and a poor 256 megabytes of internal memory. The new handset is lacking 3G, so will not appeal to most. There are no details on the price and the exact release date.
