Apple iPhone v3.1 Beta: Direct Download

Apple iPhone v3.1 Beta build 7C97D is now ready for a direct download, but as yet, there is no word on what this latest update will fix, but 9 to 5 Mac are hoping that they will not lose their tether. Apple has been quick to react to some of the bugs that have been plaguing the iPhone OS 3.0.

We did report in a recent article that startup and shutdown times have been improved with this latest developer update. There are a number of things that you need to know about iPhone SDK 3.1 beta before you download, which as we know is for development purposes only.

Make certain that this software is only installed on devices that are dedicated to the use of the iPhone OS 3.1 beta application. Once you have installed the update, you will not be allowed to restore it back to the earlier version of the OS.
