Apple iPhone OS 3.0 and 3GS: solve a few problems

Have you been having problems with your new iPhone 3GS ever since the iPhone OS 3.0 update? We have found a few solutions for you to read, which may help to solve some of those problems.

As reported from PhonesReview, here are some of the solutions which will solve a few minor problems that you’ve been experiencing.

* You can reset your iPhone by holding down the Sleep and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

* Restoring your iPhone: In iTunes, click the Restore button under the Summary tab. Restoring the phone will erase contacts, calendars, photos, and other data on the phone, but will restore automatically backed-up information including text messages, notes, call history, contact favorites, sound settings, widget settings, etc.

There have also been sound issues and a problem regarding ‘changing icons’. You can read more info on these issues here.

I have an older iPhone, but the 3.0 download has really messed up my ability to play tracks on shuffle. It makes an odd “beep” noise in the middle of a track and then just take it off shuffle and onto a random song in the playlist. VERY frustrating, and I can’t find advice on it anywhere!
