Palm Pre webOS 1.0.4 update: download now

If you’re an owner of a Palm Pre handset, you’ll be interested to know that an update is now available for the WebOS. Update 1.0.4 intends to address a number of security issues in some of the software within the WebOS.

As reported from GadgetReview, the update is an over the air one, meaning that you will not need to connect your phone to the PC to update. The update is around 12MB in size, with Palm saying that the update will occur ‘once your device is idle and a high speed connection is available.’

Users will still be notified when the update is available though, so you needn’t worry about the update taking place automatically.
