You may have read out post last week regarding the release of Mozilla Firefox 3.5, well users of the popular Internet browser will be glad to hear that Firefox 3.5 will be released today, this release is expected Tuesday morning Pacific time. It comes over one year since Mozilla launched Firefox 3.0.
Mozilla have added so many features that they decided the version number should be called 3.5 not 3.1 as the 3.5 signifies how much has been added. There are quite a few new features on the new version which include a new JavaScript engine, a new privacy mode and support for HTML 5 (Apple’s preference to Adobe Flash Player).
Since version 3.0 was released a lot of competitors have released new browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, Google’s Chrome, Opera and Safari 4, therefore it is not known whether this release will be as popular as last years, either way it will be very big.
For users who are currently using Firefox the new version can be received when its live by opening the browser, choosing help and clicking check for updates. Check out the full story on ComputerWorld.
