IPhone 3G S Recall: Could overheating make it happen?

We reported the other day that a number of Apple iPhone 3G S handsets were overheating, which people are blaming on push features and a batch of bad batteries. Apple has so far been very quiet on the matter, we now wonder if this overheating could cause a recall of these latest handsets.

Infoworld has been explaining that his new iPhone 3G S does seem to run much warmer than the previous model. Those with the black handset will not notice the problem as much as those with the white, as the back can start to get a brownish color to it, not so nice looking now.

One iPhone 3G S user reported that he was using the video recorder when the phone got hot and then died on him. Others are saying that their handsets are becoming hot with prolonged GPS use; this also runs the battery down.

Let us hope that we here from Apple soon, I am now worried about keeping my phone under a pillow at night.

You keep your phone under a pillow at night? Sounds like your trying to become a candidate for a Darwin award.

Do some real investigative reporting rather than sit on your butt and rehash what others are reporting,

Get your butt over to the Apple stores and interview those with the problems in that way at least you get a scoop rather than reporting lame stuffs.
