Xbox Live and Zune Marketplace problems

There are reports emerging stating that both the XBOX Live Marketplace and the Zune Marketplace are not functioning properly.

It is said that the XBOX Live Marketplace is having problems reliably processing purchases, and the Zune Marketplace seems to have a fundamental problem with its entire database. Many sources seem to think that the possible reason for this issue is the recent free Thriller video which proved to be very popular.

    When I turn on my xbox, the only to bars I see are My Xbox and Friends…. I can’t see any of the content bars like Video Marketplace or Game Marketplace.

    I am having issues with zune marketplace. Every time I try to download any music, it is coming up with purchase errors and wont download….

    ive been dealing with xbox.my user profile and my purchased
    downloads have been erased.they took my info and told me they would call me within 5 working days I am very pissed right now
    because i just got my console back from them because I RECEIVED THE RED RING OF DEATH. MY CONSOLE WAS OUT BEING REPAIRED FOR 3 WEEKS.

    every time i click on Zune Video Marketplace on my 360, after i tell it to show everyone that im on zune video, it says "service isnt available, please try again." I have been trying to do this for a while and no sloution. Please help
