Nokia Ovi Suite: Version 2.0

Nokia have just updated the version of the Ovi Suite to 2.0. The handy bit of software allows you to synchronize your phone and update it as well as using the Ovi Suite to gain access to the recently launched Ovi Store.

As reported from TechTree, Nokia are eventually planning to discontinue old applications such as the PC Suite and Nokia Software Updater to focus on the new Ovi Suite.

    Unfortunately my first comment is a negative one. This morning whilst backing up my data from my Nokia N97 Mini to my laptop via Ovi Suite, I was advised that there are two software updates available for my mobile. I downloaded the software and immediately after that my mobile was rendered inoperative. I cannot make or recieve calls. I took the handset to a Vodacare Shop. They informed me that the software downloaded this morning, caused the problem and that it wil take 3 days to repair. Unacceptable!
