New Nokia Siemens Networks for Vodafone in India

Nokia have been in the news a lot lately thanks to some of the hot products they have been releasing. These include the new Nokia Ovi Suite that hit version 2.0, and the upcoming Nokia N97 firmware update that will fix most, but not all problems.

All the while the new products have been releasing, Nokia Siemens have been expanding their network around the world. Today we hear about the new Nokia Siemens networks for India.

It was announced today that Nokia Siemens have rolled out networks in 7 new regions in India, specifically for Vodafone.

The Nokia Siemens Networks contract is in its first phase, and will continue to expand through 2010. Nokia Siemens was awarded the contract in 2008. You can read more about this on wsj.com.
