Lanai Gara no.1 on Call of Duty World At War
Filed under: Gaming, Sony Playstation 3, Xbox 360

So how good do you think you are at Call of Duty: World at War? However good you are is irrelevant as the number one spot in the world is currently occupied by female gamer Lanai Gara.
As Split-Screen reports, Lanai Gara is the newest member of the Frag Dolls, a professional female gaming team ran by Ubisoft. She certainly means business too after previous experience on Counter-Strike and managing to reach #4 in the world on ‘Free For All’, during the COD:World at War beta.
So remember that age-old phrase, ‘girls can’t play video games?’ It seems to be a thing of the past now as Lanai Gara remains the one to beat on Call of Duty at the moment.
Let us know your thoughts on this.

i think it is good that females are starting to dominate games. maybe perhaps with the trend game developers will make more of an effort to appeal to female gamers.
i would like to see a smackdown vs. raw have a female story mode along with the create a character mode. maybe make it co-op as well with a male and female wrestler story mode somehow. i know the last smackdown vs. raw with co-op didnt appeal to my fiance…but who wants to play ray mysterio anyways.
hopefully this will blow the doors open on games where they will have female and male playable characters/options/storylines for all games, not just a few.
call of duty female soldiers in modern warfare perhaps. it would be nice and maybe my fiance would enjoy them more and get into it.
