Is your iPhone 3GS overheating?

The reports of the Apple iPhone 3GS overheating have not gone away, and we have had a few users tip us about this very problem. At first we thought it was only the iPhone 3GS overheating, but some users have said since updating to the iPhone 3.0 software it also made their iPhone hotter.

One PR news user said, “I have the 3G version. I installed 3.0 software the first day it came out. I noticed mine too was getting hot and the battery life seemed shorter.” Has this happened to you?

We have heard that some devices get really hot when using GPS over 3G wireless.
