HTC Hero: Flash is integrated into ROM
By: Alan Ng | June 29, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt looks as if HTC have scored a huge advantage over Apple with their new Hero handset, thanks to support for Adobe Flash 9. As many of you will be aware, Apple are still yet to come to an agreement with Adobe to bring Flash support for the iPhone.
As reported from PCWorld, HTC obviously know how much Flash support means for potential customers. The addition of Flash opens up a great deal of multimedia options and features, so this feature alone may tempt you to pick up a HTC Hero in favour of the iPhone 3GS.
Its also important to point out that Adobe Flash 9 support for the HTC Hero will be integrated into the device’s ROM and isn’t yet available for other Android devices.
