We previously reported that Acer were to release an 11.6″ version of their Aspire Aspire One Netbooks, the company have now released the Aspire Aspire One AO751h, overall it is said to offer better ease of use (due to the roomier keyboard) however slightly slower performance (due to the slower processor) when compared to the 10” Acer Aspire One AOD150.
The look of the laptop is similar to its predecessor (AOD150) and also some of the features are similar to the Timeline series, one slight design floor with this model is that its battery does slightly overhang at the back of the netbook.
The A0751 offers a starting retail price of $399, with an option of a better battery life version for $449, there is a brief review on Engadget and an extremely detailed reviews, which contains benchmarks and lots of photos on LaptopMag.

I think that everyone is getting the mini laptops with hopes that it will perform as the desktop computers or even the regular laptops. The concept has been missed here, netbooks are like a temp fix until you get to your deaktop. How many times have you had so much paperwork to do and could not get to your regular computer at home. Netbook allows you to do just that, it gives you the freedom to do your work where ever. If people would take time to read the specs on the products they by, more than likely, they would pick better machines with the speeds they need. You can’t assume things is going to be right without researching it first. I have the Acer Aspire One, it it does all the things it says it does, I have no complaints because I read the specs first.
My friend bought an acer last Christmas and says it doesnt have the video/cd player. Is this common on the acer and is it possible to buy one with this feature?
hi. all netbooks not just acer netbooks are to small to have built in dvd/cd drives. to solve this problem you can buy external dvd/cd drives that easily connect to netbooks and act like regular laptops with built in dvd/cd drives.
