White Apple iPhone 3G S Overheating: Is yours
By: Peter Chubb | June 27, 2009 | 5 CommentsThe new Apple iPhone 3G S has been out for little over a week now, and already we have heard of some problems that people are having with the must have device. We reported the other day about a strange rattling sound coming from the back of the new handset.
Well there seems to be a new issue being reporting by owners of the white Apple iPhone 3G S, and that is an overheating issue. Engadget have visited a French website where owners of these handsets have noticed a strange brownish / pinkish discoloration on the back.
The user of the white iPhone 3G S said that this was caused by overheating when he was using the GPS and 3G of the phone. This certainly makes the cool white version of the phone look cheap and tacky.
