It has been revealed that Sprint are preparing to release their own version of the HTC Hero, which has just been announced recently. The exciting news though, is that their version is thought to include WiMAX and CDMA.
Over at IntoMobile though, they believe this might not happen, after they had quoted Sprint CEO Dan Hesse stating that the Android platform ‘wasn’t good enough for their network’.
At the moment this is just a rumor, so do not take it too seriously until more details are released by Sprint. If the story does turn out to be true though, it will surely be a feature that Sprint customers will be interested in.

Please Sprint! Get this phone. I have been a long-time Sprint customer and must say the customer service has improved. The phone choice at Sprint also needs to improve. The Touch and the Pre were good steps in improvement but the good phones are not coming fast enough. I’m still with Sprint thus far because of the service plans, but if Boost had better phones I’d be gone. I want a phone that will allow me to get rid of gadgets from my purse — all combined handheld, phone, real camera, mp3. Could this be it?
