
Windows 7 Pre-Orders Start: Release Date In October
By: Alan Ng | June 26, 2009 | Leave a CommentLooks like we are getting closer and closer to the final release of Windows 7, as pre orders of the new software are now available to purchase from online retailer Amazon.
As Engadget reports, Amazon have issued a rather detailed press release informing the public that they are now offering two sets of pre-order options for customers wishing to pick up Windows 7.
These are the Home Premium Upgrade and Professional Upgrade packages for $49.99 and $99.99 respectively and both will be available for pre-order untill the 11th July and whilst stocks last.
Amazon have promised customers that those who pre-order will recieve their copy of Windows 7 on the October 22nd release date.
