Apple iPhone 3GS: The New Camera

One disappointing feature with previous versions of the iPhone has always been the lack of a decent camera, however with the new iPhone 3G S they upgraded to a 3MP autofocus camera which supports video recording. Compared to the 2MP camera on previous iPhones this is a great improvement.

The iPhone 3G S has had great reviews all around in terms of photo quality and video quality, and in our previous post regarding video recording in the dark reviews came back very positive. The only criticism that seems constant with the iPhones photography is its lack of a flash, I feel that with a flash it would become almost a complete replacement for a digital camera, enthusiasts have even created a shoulder mount for the iPhone 3G S.

One thing Apple have really spent time developing is a quick and easy way to share media be-it photos or videos, people have also said uploading a video from the iPhone is easier then uploading a video from your computer. Users are also able to trim videos almost instantly, this is not a feature available on many handsets.
