Wildcharge are known for their conductive charging systems, but they seem to have dragged their heels when coming up with one for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. However, Business Wire now informs us that they have released an inductive charging system for these ultimate gadgets.
The soft, matte black cases will wrap around your iPhone or iPod Touch, and will then charge itself whenever you place the device on a WildCharger Pad, not as good as the Touchstone for the Palm Pre, but it is a start.
You will have to pay $35 for these cases, but if you wait until July, then you will be able to get your hands on an iPhone case/Wildcharger Pad bundle, all for just $80. This certainly is a way forward when charging such devices, but as Gizmodo said, it is much nicer to be able to see new device while sitting on the table, instead of storing them away in these cases.

I purchased the skins and charger pad for my Iphone, however the error message “Device was not designed for the Iphone” keeps popping up all day long and prompting me to go to airplane mode. Will have to return as it is too annoying to tolerate and Wildcharge hasn’t addressed a fix for the issue. Otherwise I would have been happy with the skin and charger pad.
