TiVo in talks with Time Warner Cable

Its been a grueling time for TiVo as they have finally managed to win their DVR patent lawsuit against EchoStar, it sounds as if TiVo are trying to work their way up in the world by going up against the big dogs in the cable business as there is word that TiVo are having talks with Time Warner Cable.

Taking into account that EchoStar have challenged TiVo with every legal challenge they could think of, TiVo have still come out successful and have broken through all these challenges to team up with Time Warner Cable, so it shows that they are controlling this whole situation rather steadily considering they have just got license agreements with Comcast and DirecTV. This has helped TiVo a lot in any agreements they try to get with other big names in the business.

Although TiVo’s products are not always the best, they think its time to be bought out by one of the bigger companies so to be honest, you could see TiVo taking the cable business by storm and you could well be watching your TV on a TiVo cable box rather than the one you have got right now.
