Palm Pre News: New shipment for Best Buy

The one thing that stopped Palm selling more Pre handsets than they had hoped was the amount of units that was made. Future customers were left disappointed when stocks run dry quickly, but now Pre central is reporting that Best Buy is already gearing up for the next wave of Pre handsets .

Best Buy seems to be doing something that was done with the iPhone, and that is if you pre-order a handset, then you will have to purchase a $50 gift card. That gift card can then be used towards the purchase of your Palm Pre.

If you want to beat the rush and not have to queue up for when the next batch of Pre’s come in, then you should certainly think about Pre-ordering. Pre Central advises you to check with your local Best Buy store to see when its next shipment of Palm Pre handsets is due in; this should be around July 8, 2009.
