June 23: Xbox Live Marketplace Update

As pretty much all of the Xbox gamers out there will know there was some new downloads made available yesterday, and I’m here to give you a nice little update on the downloads that have been released and whether or not you will have to pay for them.

For all you Fallout 3 fans out there, they have released a new part of the map for you to visit which is a weird seaside town called Point Lookout and to get there you need to head over to the Duchess Gambit because it Tobar the ferryman that will take you there. Since this is a whole new part of the game there is many new secrets for you to unveil such as, a whole new questline which will help you uncover the secrets and mysteries of Point Lookout, there are also a few new powerful weapons available for you such as a double-barreled shotgun which will help you on your journeys through the dangers of the swamp in Point Lookout. This download will cost you 800 Microsoft points.

There is also three new video trailers for you to download, these are: the Prototype reveal trailer, which is a free video for you to download, a Call Of Duty: World At War Map Pack 2 Zombie Trailer which is showing you the 4 new maps that you can download for the popular zombie mode, this is also free to download and the last new video available is the trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Fallen which is also free.

The last set of new downloads that are available are new gamer pictures and themes, these include a new gamer picture and theme for the new Transformers film, both of these downloads are free, the is 3 gamer picture packs available for the new Red Faction: Guerilla game each of them cost 80 Microsoft points and the last one is a College Fest picture pack made by Xbox and by downloading this you will be entered into a competition, you can find out more on that by checking out the download available on Xbox Live.
