IPhone 3GS vs My HTC Touch Pro Phone

The new iPhone 3G S is a wonderful phone, Apple have the perfect balance with hardware and software. There is however one small upgrade that has a number of people talking, and that it the new 3-megapixel camera. This does not sound much, but according to Wired, it performs much better than it should, and the reason for this is its Tap-to-focus feature.
Wired.com has even asked if “The iPhone 3GS will kill the Cheap Pocket Camera?” This has certainly had a huge reaction, and one of their readers said, “My HTC Touch Pro has autofocus camera.” This is much the same as the Tap-to-focus feature on the iPhone, so what is all the buzz. The HTC Touch Pro Phone also has another trick up its sleeve, and that is the addition of geotagging, this is something that is lacking on the iPhone 3G S. The HTC Touch Pro2 certainly has some advanced features. We just do not understand how the new iPhone 3G S could kill the cheap pocket camera, not when you have LG and Samsung phones offering 8-megapixel and above.
There is also a new Sony- Ericsson cell phone, which has a 12-megapixel camera; this even comes with a xenon flash. Yes, the camera on the new iPhone 3G S is much better than previous models, but Apple still have a long way to go if they ever wish to catch LG, Sony-Ericsson or Samsung, when it comes to camera phones.

Iphon 3Gs phone service is bad. you can hear really well, its a good gaming and toy system, but not a phone. HTC Touch Pro 2 has 4 speakers, for clear rich sound. its got a full qwerty with windows system. how is the IPhone better…..its just hype.
Why you ask, keep in mind i have owned htc touch,touch pro, diamond, pro 2(immediately got rid of due to same issues as touchpro) Because htc has INHERENT keyboard problems(constantly going out requiring replacement), constantly going out used an older version of the touch pro processor in the touch pro2 clocked at the same speed. Touch pro 2 is still slow and laggy, battery life is usually under 4 hours talk. Touch pro and touch pro 2 still have constant overheating and charging issues. Touch pro 2 requires constant soft resets. Touch Pro 2 camera takes forever to start up. Touch pro 2 however, has a nice speakerphone setup, physical keyboard and multitasks(just dont expect swift multitasking). Iphone 3gs processor is nearly 100mhz faster then pro2 and it shows quite a bit as you get no lag with iphone. I have used windows mobile for years, and owned several handsets, swore i wouldnt switch, but windows mobile, NO MATTER WHAT COVER YOU PUT ON IT(touchflo), is still windows mobile and will have serious bugs. I swapped to every possible rom i could…no help. The iphone 3gs out performs any htc product i have ever had, minus multitasking (but it moves so fast and smooth you dont need it, unlike htc products bogging down). So you ask how it can be better, in my opinion there are quite a few reasons…..glad htc finally put a larger screen on the pro2 though….same internals…fatter phone..larger screen and a nice speakerphone is hardly an upgrade from the pro.
U r right Serg cuz i have an iphone 3g and already have vid recording cuz i jailbroke it but u r right when u said its all hype i want to sell it and get a htc touch pro 2 for att when i can upgrade
