What the New iPhone 2009 Lacks: OS 4.0 Wishlist
By: Peter Chubb | June 23, 2009
It has now been almost a week since we have been enjoying what the new iPhone 3.0 OS has to offer, here are our five best features. However, there are still a few features lacking in the new 2009 operating system. PC World has been taking a closer look and has studied what they feel the iPhone 3.0 OS lacks and its wishlist for OS 4.0.
The first feature that needs a facelift is the Notes App. This feature now syncs with your computer, but it is still a note app in a basic form, it would be nice to be able to change the font and the background color.
Another feature that would be good would be to share your photos with Flickr, as well as adding support for Facebook and Twitter. The new 3-megapixel camera was a nice touch, so OS 4.0 needs to have some photo editing software. It would also be great to be able to pinch and crop with the multitouch capabilities of the iPhone.
Spotlight is a great search feature, which I have used many times, but it would be nice if this was expanded to searching on the web as well. The Palm Pre does this, so you would have thought that Apple would have wanted to do the same thing.
