You may have read our post back in April regarding Intel’s new Moorestown chip platform, well it is expected today that Intel will be announcing Nokia as a new customer for its mobile processors.
Intel currently holds more then 80% of the microprocessor market worldwide, however they have always struggled to become the market leader in mobile-phone chips. Could this be the breakthrough they need to become a major contender?
Not only is this a big breakthrough for Intel but it could also become a huge opportunity for Nokia to become a major competitor in the laptop market, can you see this happening?
Head over to Bloomberg to read more rumored news on the new Nokia Netbook.
