New AT&T Motorola Karma QA1: Video Tour

New AT&T Motorola Karma QA1: Video Tour

Very disappointing reviews all around for this phone, the only real up to date technology I can see used with this phone is built in shortcuts Facebook and Myspace and it seems to have a good email client.

Apart from that the camera is 2.0 megapixels, it has a 2.5” 262k color display, and only has 100MB standard storage, which for today’s standards is very low (this can be added to with a microSD card). For a full technical specification click here.

Also early indications show that the cheapest priceplan you can get the phone on is $60 per month, I really don’t understand what market this phone is aiming for and I can’t see it reviving Motorola’s mobile phone market share.

Take time to check out the video below, does this phone tick any boxes for you?

This is really not a bad phone. If you do a lot of texting it’s great. I checked out the Eternity and I really did not like it at all so I returned it and got the Karma and for what I do it works great. So far I have not found the perfect cell phone maybe I want to much. But for now the Karma works for me.

The only way you can say that this phone is getting disappointing reviews all around is if you ignore such minor details as the Karma being among the highest rated phones of all time on CNet, and count your own review as being indicative of all others. Perhaps you’re ignoring the fact that this is supposed to be an entry-level messaging phone (marketed towards the teen/young adult crowd), and as far as entry-level messaging phones go, the Karma is tops.
Furthermore, your claim that it takes at least a $60/month plan to get this phone is an outright lie. A little research (if you can even call it that, since it requires such little effort) on the AT&T website would have shown you that you can get the Karma with a plan as low as $40/month. I advise anyone who is viewing this page to disregard this joke of an article and find a more reputable source.
